Never Mind The Labour Party, Come To The Fucking Fuck Parade

fuck-parade3If there’s one thing the British establishment hates more than Jeremy Corbyn it’s us.  From the corridors of power to the boardrooms in the city, they see our class as nothing more than mugs and scroungers who only exist to fatten their wallets.  Work hard and they’ll pat you on the head whilst picking your pocket with the other hand.  Refuse work and the punishment is economic destruction, with every avenue of survival ruthlessly shut down.  And if you can’t work, or find a job, then you will be destroyed as well, as a lesson to everyone else.  Don’t get sick, don’t complain, don’t ask for a pay rise, or you too could become a scrounger – a non-person to be bullied and tormented at will.

But beneath this seething contempt for the poor lies a terror that goes unspoken.  They know all too well that there is more of us than them, and that without our compliance the whole fucking game is up.  That in a heartbeat their mansions, and their assets, and their bank balances, could all disappear like smoke.  It has happened before.

So, as uncomfortable as they may find it, they would far rather tolerate a polite man asking difficult questions in parliament, than face a mob with pitchforks steaming down their leafy streets.  They will bluster and howl about extremism but they know all too well that if things become genuinely turbulent then the likes of Jeremy Corbyn may yet be their biggest chance of survival.  This has been the historic role of the Labour Party, to manage the wrath of the working class and fight on our behalf for things we don’t usually even want.

Whatever your views on recent events one thing is clear.  Escalation is now required on all fronts if we are to end, or even slow down, the onslaught on our living standards.  There will be no concessions to a movement that has no teeth.  Sitting around for five years on the off chance Labour might eventually save us is not an option.  No-one can save us, except us.

On Saturday 26th September Class War will be holding the third Fuck Parade, this time targetting gentrification in Shoreditch, a once working class area of London.  Meet outside Shoreditch Station from 7pm and please help spread the word by sharing the facebook page for the event.

Meanwhile this coming Saturday (19th September) A March Against Evictions is being held in Stratford, East London to mark the second anniversary of Focus E15 campaign.  Meet at Stratford Park, West Ham Lane, from noon, full details on facebook.

In October protests will be taking place in Manchester outside the Tory Party Conference.  I’ll get a seperate post up about these, but for now there’s details on DPAC’s website.

  1. I agree, We need to show we are the iron fist.. While i am not a labour fan, there is a slightly fresher air in politics today, however we need to carry on make labour KNOW WE will not allow them to do what the tories have done.. even if we have to pull the entire system down and begin again.. too many corrupt people, too many biased groups, too many people who no longer know what its like in the real world.

  2. its always being the same them and us the rich have always fucked over the poor,, the aristocracy fucking hate and fear us the great unwashed. the french had the right idea,,,

  3. Some small truths but mostly pie in the sky .

All of you good selves are right – Jeremy Corbyn is a total breath of fresh air and he (and his so far, (almost) no-Blairite opposition have brought a genuine chance of hope for everyone amidst an ocean of idealogical, destructive, cruel and totally heartless Tory policies. However, I must admit that I do not think that this is going to be a total bed of roses for him and them! From day one he has been attacked by the right-wing Tory media, including the usual tabloid rags, as well as Sky News and to a lesser extent BBC News. He has to try to bolster his support, both from the public who wants change and also his own ‘Labour’ party. This could be difficult as he will have to ride both the continuing nit-picking storm from the media and also probable back-biting & coup attempts by the more right-wing members of his party – of which there are still far too many. The SNP has offered support to fight the Tories & I really hope that he takes this offer up.
As in many other people’s case on here, I have also personally suffered from welfare/job unfairness in the past – including an early form of 2 week ‘benefit sanction’, an Employment Training scheme which lasted for a year, – then, although being offered a ‘job’ at the end of it all, there was nothing.
Just back to the Job centre to sign on and other ‘training schemes’ followed. All crap and all leading to nothing – the ‘providers’ though were well paid by both Thatcher’s & Blair’s Governments – and all of them laughed their way to their banks! Nothing really changes it seems – only now it seems to be a whole lot worse!
As you say Johnny & Greenwood 4727, if he is not able to continue his welcome policies and he does eventually decline/collapse under the continuing attacks (which I am very afraid of!) – the only hope will have been lost. The Tories and right-wing Labour will gain ground and support even more harsh and cruel policies against the poor, the vulnerable, the sick and the disabled. All that will be left then would be a population driven uprising – as what happens in many other countries who either want democracy or who are trying to protect the democracy that they have already got and are inexorably losing. Civil unrest and violence would inevitably follow, possibly with a terrible Government/Police response which could even lead to deaths occurring. The fight against the Thatcher witch would be a tea party in comparison to what may well happen soon if Jeremy Corbyn is eventually defeated

    • Jeremy Corbin will shaft you up the Backside with the rough end of a Pineapple just the same as any other party politician. To ignore this historically proven and repeated fact is an act of folly only worthy of a teenager.

      • Who believes Corbin really got a majority vote to lead the party with all of the right wingers in it.
The likes of turncoats Shirley Williams et al had to start their own party the social democrats because they were more interested in their own middle class surviving over the working class ( and believe you me, the upper class are more afraid of the middle class turncoats of which there are too many, than the working class).

        • ps that is why they are given the jobs in the dwp, civil service and work programmes to keep the middle class quiet and let them have a kick at the working class, who have more class than the other classes put together, more principles and know the difference between right and wrong.
I say Corbin should kick out the right wingers in the party and let them start their own if they as they say are not tories.

          • The right wing of the labour party have put a candidate up (as left wing, whether he is left wing or not) so that they can watch him fail when the propaganda apparatus starts churning against him, then the right wingers think they will take over the party again – not if they are kicked out!

  5. * off-topic from this new thread *

I shan’t be going down that route of working for Amazon at any time as when reading more of your posts from the previous forum thread – I remembered that I watched that BBC panorama programme exposing the truth about its working practices and how they really treat and monitor their workforce, Not the sort of thing I would like eventually to appear on my CV.

  6. I hope it works, even in the past when things were bad, No one has treated the people like suspiciously brown stuff, as much as this bloody so-called government, not at least since Victorian times anyway. You would think they would have moved on to modern times, but no still the same old Tories, this time out with a Vengeance.

they know full well we cannot all live lavish lifestyles, so they’ve created an imaginary world where it’s possible…there is plenty for all if we’re not greedy, and plan well for the present and the future..imv our greatest joy is in using our minds in pursuit of the common weal…

      • I always knew there was enough food in the world at least, if it wasn’t wasted by big companies, who can sell it before it rots away and if Rich people didn’t over buy on a whim. There would be enough for a world full of people. I hate greed and power, they totally distort peoples morals and values.

        • Blame the ‘American Dream’ syndrome, who pretend everyone is capable of being rich if they work hard enough and think positive thoughts.

What they have not grasped is the concept that not everyone is a grasping, ambitious, competitive greedy swine, there are those who would be happy with shelter, food, family and be able to have some cash left over for fun.

What we need is a free world for all, where everyone gets a fair share of everything produced and there is no monetary system.

A pie in the sky system you might think, but that could be created, leaving the money hoarders with nowhere to spend it, just having to accept the same necessities of life as everyone else.

It may not be a perfect world but it would be a fairer one.

  7. Don’t think the bastards in government don’t know what they are doing. All the evidence points to yet further nazi incursions into the country as a means of the elites stealing even m ore of our money. They are happy to kill us even though when asked you’d think butter wouldn’t melt in their mouths. This is WAR

    A. That will be £50 I thought The Work Started Now !!!!

Mental Health like all other medical conditions are curable with work. There is no illness that can be left out of the genocide ethnic cleansing of sickness & disability that work pays & it`s what you can do, not what you can`t do. A non stop contradiction as a Health Care Professional & a DWP/ LIMA tick box system. That has failed as a system with no choices – society is a tick box system] That don`t work when a non choice system is given choices. Work through Mental Health & be cured. When a dictatorship gets promoted it is called a rogue state with tons of UN breaches of the Human Rights Act & Equality Laws. Mental Health is a disability. Funny how if you have a Mental Health issue you don`t need to fill in a ESA50 questionnaire AKA Bogus Form for a WCA. The ESA50 is bogus form because it has no Bar Coding on it. It seems Maximus & Atos are running the DWP, yet it is the DWP`s responsibility aka Dunko The Clown aka In Deep Shit aka IDS.

You toady to Class War, a bunch of Stalinist misfits, college boy failures, and feminists who run to safe spaces and remove comments from the Class War pages if they dare criticise the middle class objectives of the banner wavers. They ran a good campaign for the poor doors, but in reality belong to the mainstream left, just like the Guardian reading Corbynites. The last thing our class want is another Stalinist, undemocratic Guardian supping bunch of losers whose idea of discussion goes not further than ‘Tories are wankers’ and splurting ‘fuck off cunt’ as a form of dispute. don’t know the way forward, but I am prepared to work with working class people, not this crowd. 27. While I agree with a lot of the posts on this subject the best way to fight the Tory bastards is not by slagging off Corbyn or the DWP. These are simply distractions. The best way to beat the Tories and their shitty policies are to unite together against them. We must gather the strength and support of the bulk of working class people of this country in order to overthrow the Tories.

  28. Santa hates you – Well said – however, give them enough rope and they just might hang themselves and eventually bring themselves down.
Meanwhile, whilst they are in the midst of doing that, what you say is right – there is strength in numbers and the working class people are the ones who will have the most in the way of clout to be able to achieve this.

    • I don’t think the Tories will bring themselves down, they will have to be taken down by a broad coalition of opposition that includes the Labour Party. A ‘return’ to the bad good old days of nationalisation will not be sufficient, as that would leave nationalised businesses in a vulnerable position whereby they could be sold once more by a capitalistically minded government. Of course many people seem to be on a bit of a high right now, but once the euphoria fades people will realise that Corbyn, however nice a man he is, isn’t the Messiah, and moreover that his economic plans don’t really extend to allowing workers to take control of their own industries.

For one, I very much doubt that the mainstream trade unions would be happy about that, as they contain within them bureaucracies who depend on the continuation of something like the present economic status quo for their continued existence. Also, nice man though he obviously is, as it John McDonnel, neither of them is really that left-wing – relatively speaking they apppear to be so, but that has to be considered in the light that the comparison is to a particularly virulent and nasty version of the Tory party.

I also doubt that many Labour supporters would be in favour of a real democratic solution, as that would put them too much in the driving seat, thus placing the people in a position of responsibility when in reality it likes the present set up as it allows it the illusion of blaming politicians for the mistakes made, when in reality the mistake being made is electing politicians in the first place.

We need to take control of our own society in a way that does not allow politicians to take control, to ‘own’ things. In the historical period immediately preceeding the welfare state ordinary people were slowly constructing their own institutions, the trade unions, the unions, burial clubs, sickness benefit clubs, friendly societies, miners institutes, health benefit societies, building societies and a plethora of other organisations created by people at the grass roots.

With good intentions I’m sure, most of those were swept away by the state over time, thus leaving us too reliant on the state and government whim. We need to realise that we need to start thinking in terms of rebuilding our own institutions once again. It is possible, given imagination and will, and obviously money. Even marginalised, poor people can usually scrape together a small amount of money each month – which is how those self-help organisations founded by ordinary people in the late 18th and 19th Centuries came into being.

We can choose to whinge as much as we want, but unless we start to act and involve ourselves in creating the kind of changes we want to see in our society then we are just wasting our breath.

      • Little cottage industries here and small co-operatives there are not going to bring down the giants of industry, they will just leave them co-existing alongside them and changing nothing really.
The people need to take over the WHOLE of the means of production and produce for the benefit of all.
The workforce are the producers not the owners of the means of production, who just wallow in the profits of the producers labour, paying them what they think they deserve, thus creating inequality of incomes.

If everyone produces something and is given the means to live not in monetary terms but in things that they need we would have a much fairer world. It does not need organization as it can be run via the means of production, we have now but without salaries and more people employed to produce the things we need.
The ones that will be refusing to work then will be the right wing entrepreneurs and politicians and civil servants( who are more cossetted by the nanny state than anyone),because they can’t earn the big salaries or exploit the workforce in their own interests, because they won’t own the workforce.

The luxury end of living could be attained by other incentives such as competitions in who produces the most whilst in work(not subjected to longer working hours or no leisure time, lotteries to win luxury holidays, meals at fancy restraunts, spa’s, yacht excursions, the racing track for a trip in some luxury car, without our motorways having to increase dangerous speeds to accommodate these cars, days at theme parks etc. The list is endless of that which the rich and state connected are able to attain at our expense.

If people are realistic in their expectations of what is on offer for free, which would be food, shelter, trave and entertainment in their leisure hours in pubs, clubs etc providing they help produce or in a caring or nurturing capacity, I can’t see the problem.

A world without money still exporting and importing, helping other countries by sharing one another’s produce and expertise as we do now, in favour of a secure living that is not dependant on lulls in the capitalist system, thus bringing rewards for all not the minority rich as it is now.

I STARTED Wings Over Scotland because I was sick of hearing things being said on TV and reading things in newspapers that I knew weren’t true, but which absolutely nobody challenged. The most obvious example is the idea that Labour needed Scottish seats to win UK elections – that’s absolute hogwash, but everyone repeated it like a self-evident mantra. Having searched in vain for a website debunking the myths, I realised I’d have to do it myself. I never thought it would become a job.’

            • I will have to google ‘wings over Scotland’, perhaps you could starts a ‘wings over the uk’ too or does it encompass uk also?

              • How about you starting it Guy?

                • 1. I have started plenty in my life, I am as good an organizer as anyone. I have ran a household and brought two children up single handedly and cared for many people inbetween.

I think there are enough websites to chat on, what we need is what you yourself advocate and that is action.

I as Martin Luther King jnr said, I have a dream, when he came to lecture in one of the North East Universities, but it can’t be done without the will of the majority of the people wanting change and believing there can be.

                • PS what have you done other than join every union or organization that will make you feel part of something important, because your baiting of me just shows what a petty, mealy mouthed mischief maker you are and have chosen your friends unwisely.

                • I’m only a member of one union Guy, the IWW, and you stll haven’t answered my question, merely provided excuses/laurels rested upon. I am actually quite active in that union and far from it making me feel important, it’s actually quite a bit of work. I don’t have any power or influence, and I can’t make any decisions on my own, as the IWW is run on democratic lines.

And yes, it is based on people wanting change, which is why I hold the views that I do, and am involved in the things that I am.

I may have posted my comment to wind you up a bit, but also as a challenge, and I was at least civil about it, whereas, in your usual manner, chose to bad mouth me merely for having a bit of fun at your expense, or for having the audacity of disagreeing with you.

I also didn’t ask you to justify yourself, which immediately put you on the defensive. Similarly I don’t have any obligation to justify myself to you. I don’t hide myself on the internet, and anyone with an ounce of nouse could find out who I am, (some on here already know who I am) and likewise what I’m involved with and what we achieve together.

basically, advisor advisor saved job on my account and it cant be deleted. Does anyone know how long saved jobs last for ??

    • Another Fine Mess

Saved jobs last forever, if an advisor saved it, only an advisor can delete it.
If it’s one you should have applied for, google for it and apply from another site.

    • Another way is to un-tick the DWP access box on your UJM account as this will stop them from saving jobs that you will be expected then to apply for. I now only let my JCP to see what job activity I am doing, and only when on the morning I have to see them.

    • pegasus, It will stay indefinitely unless the jcminus advisor deletes it. If they’ve saved the job for you, then you’re best to apply for it unless you’re able to give them a reason that they accept. If you are unable to apply via ujm itself it should state how to apply ie via email or post or click apply to access an online application form on another site. The important thing is the closing date on it, and some ads are withdrawn by employer prior to closing date.

      • PS – If you click on apply in the saved jobs section and you hit a dead end of some kind, then copy and paste the job ID no (if there is one) into the Skills or Keywords box of UJM, and click the search button – it will bring up the job on UJM itself which may give a truer indication of the current job advert.

  37. “INVESTIGATION INTO £3 MILLION OF TAXPAYERS MONEY HANDED TO KIDS CHARITY, YET DUNKO THE CLOWN HAS WASTED £1 BILLION ON FAILED WELFARE AND UNIVERSAL FUCK UP”

You don’t have to be ultra intelligent to understand how the governments media arm is used to hide the truth, yet a billion pounds of taxpayers money has been wasted on failed projects by the DWP and hidden golden handshakes to the string of bosses that fell by the wayside trying to plait fog………………..

DUNKO, the secret weapon of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, (DWP), kills more Uk citizens than any Taliban or Isis terrorist attacks, yet seemingly survives unscathed.

All these dead bodies, yet the police have been instructed to look the other way.

What a fucking cess pool, our once noble nation has become…….

Parliamentarians shagging kids, police unchallenged after shootings, falsification of medical reports by Atos and Maximus, welfare deaths hidden from public scrutiny, tax havens unchallenged and the mothball brigade of the LORDS, shafting everybody………………

Couple that with the refugee crisis, old wrinkly sitting on a plethora of palatial rooms in various palaces, part time army placements, food banks and destitution at new levels……….

Bedroom taxes crippling the poorest, increased evictions, social cleansing, gentrification and now two ministers cleared of taking bribes………..

Meanwhile our social care is in freefall, hospitals decimated and councils struggling to empty bins………..

The sooner we see heads on spikes, the better.

And as for leaving Europe, it would probably be a relief for the rest of Europe to kick off this aggressive cancer called Britain.

The figure is more like £28 billion saving off the poor & disabled over the past few years. The cost to save £28 billion has been a lot more than £28 billion. Admin costs in changing the rules every other day. So every one on ESA will have to have another HCP medical when ESA changes into UC Universal Credit.

I now have 5 different addresses to send back the form to. I will not chase them up because it will involve 6 more benefits offices with different addresses. So 11 different addresses. 10 of these are DWP & 1 Maximus. The problem being is Maximus have jumped the gun & processed me without a form or me signing anything. All because I asked them to send another ESA50 form because I spilt tea on the first one. The DWP will not admit they sent the 2nd ESA because it had no letter with it. So of course I am going to hold on to it as evidence of proof that the DWP not Maximus sent a 2nd form. Not contract to Maximus yet & the DWP know that & are trying to lose everything.

Simple admin duties are a failure.

Welfare to work programme failing disabled and ill jobseekers, say charities

Government urged to overhaul Work Programme and refocus on offering support to mentally ill people instead of putting pressure on them to find jobs

    Guardian – Thursday 17 September 2015 18.50 BST

The government’s flagship welfare to work programme is failing tens of thousands of disabled and ill jobseekers, charities have said.

Ministers claimed latest official statistics showed the Work Programme was transforming the lives of many long-term unemployed jobseekers. But charities said the £5bn scheme was struggling to help people who had been on incapacity benefit to find work.

Companies delivering the Work Programme admitted it had been hard to find employment for many jobseekers in this category and more investment was needed to prepare them to move off benefits and into work.

DWP apology to mentally-ill Leicester man after abandoned attempt to recover disputed 2006 debt

    Leicestermercury.co.uk – 17th June 2015

The Department of Work and Pensions has apologised to a mentally-ill Leicester man after pursuing him for loans he insists he never took.

Geoffrey Thomas has been involved in a six month battle with officials over a disputed crisis loans totalling £400 they say he took out in 2005 and 2006 to buy furniture

The 46-year-old from Aylestone received a letter in January telling him £8.43 a week would be deducted from his benefits.

Mr Thomas, who suffers from anxiety, depression and personality disorder, says a mistake has been made and believes he has been mixed up with someone else.

However a payment was taken from his benefits before Leicester South MP Jon Ashworth intervened and the money was returned to Mr Thomas while the matter was resolved.

Mr Thomas asked for documents to be produced proving he took the loans and the DWP consequently abandoned attempts to get back £280 of the disputed sum.

It has now written to him to saying it will not seek repayment of the remaining £120, apologising and inviting him to seek compensation.

Mr Thomas said: “I am pleased they have backed down but they are still saying I owe it and I really don’t.

“If I owe anything I pay it back. At Christmas I was overpaid in benefits and I returned that but these crisis loans, I never took them.

“It hasn’t helped my mental health I am a bit fragile and this has made me much more worried. I’ve lost a lot of sleep over that last few months because I knew what was happening wasn’t right.

“I dug my heels because they made a mistake but if this can happen to me it could happen to others. I’m worried that other people might just accept they owe money whey they don’t and end up paying back money they do not owe.”

Mr Thomas said he would be seeking compensation.

Mr Ashworth said: “”It was clear from the beginning that there were concerns over the recovery of the three Social Fund Loans.

“Given the limited income Geoffrey has I was pleased that I was able to get the deductions from his benefit suspended while the DWP were looking at the loans.

“At first the DWP were insisting on recovering payment but then abandoned collection for payment of two of them and decided not to pursue recovery of the third.”

“Although there are still questions as to whether one of the loans was ever made, it is clear that the DWP was not in a position to legally seek recovery.

“It is worrying that such errors may also been made for other people who have repaid loans that they insist they did not have. Slashing the budgets of government departments clearly impacts on the ability of the department, like the DWP, to ensure its record keeping is accurate.”

Mr Thomas was also helped by his ward councillor Nigel Porter who said: “Geoffrey says he didn’t have the loans but in any case these alleged loans are almost a decade old and I thought loans older than six years are statute barred anyway.

“Why did they wait ten years? It just seems unfair.

“It worries me that other vulnerable people are finding themselves in Geoffrey’s situation.”

A DWP spokesman said: “We have a very clear duty to protect taxpayers’ money, and ensure that debt is repaid.

“We apologise to Mr Thomas for the time it has taken to look at the recovery of his debt.”

A lot of British people just live their everyday lives – never look at the News and when they do, (just before a Gen. They vote (or not), – then either rejoice, or cry into their cups of tea or their beers when someone gets in who they did not vote for. Although that probably would have happened anyway due to the FPTP voting system, (which should be scrapped).

She has been amply rewarded for her comments and I am sure that she will be excellent an an ‘Employment Minister’. She’ll have as much empathy with the low paid, the poor and the sick as that heartless bastard Chris Grayling had when he was given the same post by the Tories.

      • yeah paul, she sounds pretty useless at attacking camoron and the others when she’s astonished at someone who has a few flags hanging outside their house – if she visited scotland she’d see a few more flags hanging outside houses… oh well, the labour party’s been cr@p for some time now, what did we expect…

        • ps isnt it odd how some papers report an area of the uk taking x number of refugees, and then x number of FAMILIES of refugees? Very strange.

        • Fellow JCP Sufferer/Customer – yes, you are right there on all points and re the refugees – that is interesting – was’nt aware of that until you said about it. I still think that we may well end up with a lot more than the suggested 20,000 over the next 5 years. If the TV News is to be believed, then there are an incredible amount of people around Hungary, Croatia, Serbia etc. I could imagine many of them trying to come to the UK if they can (if they are refused entry to other countries) – after all of the walking, trauma and heartache they will not be too happy to be sent back to where they’ve come from! They will try to get to a country that will leave them in.

          • paul – has your local paper given any indication of how many refugees your council will take?

            • PS – and our council has NOW said the x number of families is the STARTING FIGURE!

              • Fellow – Well there you are! There may be ‘secret’ plans to bring in many more than currently meets the eye! You and I both know what councils are like!

            • Fellow JCP Sufferer/Customer – no, not that I am aware of so far anyway.

              • Paul – perhaps they are trying to sneak it past their readers that your council are agreeing to take in any at all! I agree with your 20k of refugees becoming a lot more. Perhaps they will change that to 20k of families as a starting figure. There is going to be a lot more neglect by this government of our most vulnerable while Camoron concentrates on his PR exercise. As you say there will always be people struggling to get to uk if once here they are allowed to stay. If they weren’t allowed to stay then they would target another country.

                • paultheswineherd

Fellow – Yes, for an example see what happened in Germany.
Angela Merkel held her arms out open and they were (rightly) under the impression that they would ALL be welcome, however, the numbers of people naturally just grew and grew and now Germany has said (or almost so!) we cannot take any more. I am afraid that may happen in Britain and yes, I am also very concerned that they may get preferential treatment, especially with regard to our poorest, vulnerable, sick and disabled. But, I suppose we shall just have to wait and see – I may be wrong and in this respect, I hope that I am.

                • yes paul germany is paying the price for wanting to appear welcoming to refugees, and I agree the refugees here will almost certainly get preferential treatment over our own vulnerable people, but as you say we will just have to wait and see.

  53. A coroner has demanded that the government takes action to prevent future deaths of disability benefit claimants, after concluding in a “ground-breaking” inquest verdict that a disabled man killed himself as a direct result of being found “fit for work”

    http://www.disabilitynewsservice.com/coroners-ground-breaking-verdict-suicide-was-triggered-by-fit-for-work-test/

    • enigma – IDS & his DWP should ideally linked in law to this development. It could set a useful precedent and get them to answer for their cruel actions.

    • GOOD NEWS ENIGMA

About time a coroner had the balls to expose the DWP’s dirty little game of Clinical EUGENICS.

In the report, Hassell said the Atos healthcare professional had failed to take into account the views of any of Mr A’s doctors during a 90-minute assessment, telling him the DWP decision-maker would look at that evidence instead.

But the DWP decision-maker did not request any reports or letters from Mr A’s GP (who had assessed him as not being well enough to work), his psychiatrist (who had diagnosed him with recurrent depression and panic disorder with agoraphobia), or his clinical psychologist (who had assessed him as “very anxious and showing signs of clinical depression”).

Instead, Mr A was found fit for work. Six months later, he killed himself.

Strange how every disabled persons doctors are wrong and the the word of an ex bedpan washer with a penchant for gold digging takes precedence……………..

“WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT, THAT HAVING A DDAM CERTIFICATE TAKEN OVER A FEW WEEKS, COULD PUSH THE KNOWLEDGE OF A SURGEON INTO OBSCURITY”

I will ask her to request sight of the DWP’s peer reviews on benefit deaths.

        • Geoff – You are correct in both of your posts made.
As well as the DPP urgently looking at this disgraceful situation, the coroner’s report (a Coroner’s Court is a valid Court of Law) should also be referred to the UN for evidence and investigation.
IDS & his DWP, as well as the scandellous assessment Companies have got away with all of this for far, far too long now.

The impact of multiple cuts in welfare reform on disabled people

Research by Demos/Scope show that by 2017-18 around 3.7 million disabled people will collectively lose £28 bn in benefits.

Between October 2013 and 2017 income-related ESA will be abolished and will be paid as part of universal credit. Contributory ESA which will remain outside UC, although a new time limit of one year maximum claim
has been introduced before people are moved onto Income related (i.e. means tested) ESA. All people receiving ESA and those being moved onto universal credit will be assessed with the work capability assessment (WCA) as to which group they will go in: (1) limited capability for work or (2) limited capability for work and work-related activity (WRAG) or (3) fit for
          work.

      • “After six months claiming the mainstream jobseeker’s allowance, he killed himself.” Wow, big deal! It poses the question why don’t the millions of other claimants of the mainstream jobseeker’s allowance kill themselves? It is not like he was left with NO INCOME or having to survive on hardship allowance which is the case for many claimants of the main jobseeker’s allowance. He had a roof over his head. Wasn’t subject to the ‘bedroom tax’. He was wasn’t being harassed to death on the ‘work programme’. He wasn’t being forced to work for nothing in some god-awful place for six months on the CWP (Community Work Programme). Everyone of JSA may as well just go and kill themselves!

        • Everyone on JSA may as well just go and kill themselves!

        • In that case, everyone on JSA may as well just go and kill themselves!

        • …………..here is a clue to his demise:

But the DWP decision-maker did not request any reports or letters from Mr A’s GP (who had assessed him as not being well enough to work), his psychiatrist (who had diagnosed him with recurrent depression and panic disorder with agoraphobia), or his clinical psychologist (who had assessed him as “very anxious and showing signs of clinical depression”)

Please expand your ignorance towards the condition known as mental illness.

      • Geoff, & Paul, I remember a few weeks ago IDS said assessments for those on ESA wern’t working, the truth is they know there are doctors who are against their policies on the disabled, which is as you’ll know why they override what the doctors say and their reports. as if trained doctors don’t know what they are doing. .

This is yet more evidence for the UN.

        • enigma – I agree entirely with the points that you have made.
IDS is, as usual showing a totally deluded attitude – he mistakenedly thinks, I am sure that his policies are working – he could not be more wrong! People are still dying because of HIS (& the Tories) policies.
He, his DWP & the assessment companies definitely need to be held to account over all of this. How can they honestly say that a lowly HCP – a physiotherapist, (for example) can know much more than a properly qualified doctor/consultant.
The whole system is a disgrace and yes, you are right – this should also be reported to the UN as extra evidence for their enquiry.

    • re jv’s actual article, calling a march the f*** parade will put some people off being in it who don’t swear but would otherwise be glad to be in it. And also, the tories aren’t likely to be shocked by the title either, since I’m sure plenty of them swear, and they also will be glad of the lesser numbers due to the swearing. Just saying.

  54. PS I don’t think marches alone do much good – they’re not really action, just a loud voicing of opinion, and swearing makes them even less effective.

    • stitchedupandbroken – Where are they today! (to answer some of your questions!) These comments and thoughts are made up and, in truth, absolutely nothing must be made of these comments, other than to just heartily laugh at them!)

Grant Shapps: This jumped-up young prat and former loud mouthpiece of the Tory party. He applied to become an ‘economic consultant’ and thence miserably failed. In May 2015 he had to claim JSA (he claimed that he was over 25 years – which was correct) – but JCP ruled (after his appeal) that he was under 25 years of age and they awarded him £54 per week instead of £67 per week. He told the ‘Sun’ newsrag – “I am older than 25 years, so I should have got the upper amount allowed. I was bloody disgusted – after November 2015, I expect to be referred to the ‘Work Programme’ – I will probably be stacking shelves at those bastards Poundcunt for a year. If I was to complain they would sanction me, – but my very rich and most priveleged mummy & my daddy would fully support me anyway.
I live in their house, I am unmarried and I live there rent-free anyway – they have told me that because I fully support ‘their’ Tory ideology – they will buy out Maximus for me and I will become their Chief Executive – earning many millions of pounds from the Government – which, after all – that is where I truly belong”. The ‘Sun’ reporter was more than fully impressed by his comments. Sky News will also be reporting this tomorrow and so will Fiona Bruce on BBC News. (She, with a lovely and wry smile and nod of her totally biased Conservative head).

Fatty Soames the Cunt, has become ‘Lord Soames’ – fully entered into the house of Lords (The House of Loungers & Scroungers). He loves all of the tax-payer funded ‘Lords’ salary and expenses – everything from his ‘landlord’ expenses to his booze expenses (fully subsidised by the hard-working tax payer of Britain) and any other expenses that he can think of.
His Mc.Donald’s meals are paid for and allegedly, any suspicion of ‘young boy sexual misconduct/shagging will be fully covered up and fully denied by Special Branch and the Metropolitan Police. If any of them try to spill the beans on him – he will have them ‘quietly got rid of’ or demoted to have to sign on at Job Centre Plus (the Cunts)

The Judges in the House of Lords (the same as Lord Soames – as above).
Sleazy, corrupt and turning a total blind eye to any unfairness to the vulnerable, the sick, the poor and the disabled. (with no conflicts of interests at all) – allegedly all drunk and shagging young children in their back alleys in their downtimes.

What a Fucking Bollocks of an ‘establishment’ we have nowadays.

    • enigma – thank you for this – Mark Winn needs to be sacked (according to the photograph he is not starving in the least!) and sent down to sign on at JobCentrePlus. He (like so many people in Britain) believes everything that the ‘Media’ says. If he had to sign on, he would very soon be crying into his beer and/or wine.

Now look up the word “Democracy,” in a reputable Law Dictionary and see the legal meaning. Democracy is defined as: “A Socialist form of government and another form of Communism.”

Do you remember the lies that President Reagan, the Congress and the Media told America? The lie was that, “The Iron Curtain fell without a shot being fired!” The truth is that the Iron Curtain came down because Communist Europe found an ally in the West and there was no longer a need for walls!

  66. Rob
    Report Tenovus to Boycott Workfare.

Tenovus are a joke. I saw a Welsh tapestry jacket in one of their shops for £75. It begs the question: how do these ‘posh’ charity shops serve the community? Imv they can only serve the wealthier community. They charge ridiculous prices. CDs and books are cheaper on Ebay.

    • sian – definitely – Tenovus should not be allowed to get away with this.
As I have said to Rob, their CEO is probably on a fortune – I have suggested that he reports them to the Charities Commission – also to put in an official ‘complaint’ to the DWP/JobCentrePlus

    • sian – ‘report Tenovus to ‘Boycott Workfare’ – that’s a good idea : )

  67. Hi Rob,
This is just the sort of example of ‘Workfare’ that is so unfair to those involved. You are right to e-mail Tenovus and complain about your treatment. I am 10 years younger then yourself and I would object strongly to be treated in this way by any of these bastard ‘Workfare Providers’.
As a matter of interest may I suggest that you have a look at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk/wales-24322738

They are objecting to all sorts of things, including business rates – but, no doubt their CEO is also very well paid (as are all of the major Charities)

I would also suggest that you contact the Charities Commission and also complain to them – they oversee and grant ‘licences’ to all ‘Registered Charities’ in the U.K.

This is not to be tolerated and if I were you I would certainly try to fight them.

  68. Rob – Sorry – my post to you has been displaced further up the page!

    The Charity Commission website is:

    https:// http://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/charity-commission

  69. Rob – In addition to the above – If I were in your position, I would also put in a written ‘complaint’ to the DWP (via your referring JobCentrePlus). (Sometimes this may also be a DWP Office ‘up-country’) If so – make sure that the same documents are sent to either one, or BOTH of them. Make sure that all letters are properly dated/referred to (i.e) Nat. Ins No/DOB and also make sure that the word ‘COMPLAINT’ is written at the top of your letter(s).
Keep copies of ANYTHING that you write to them (as they have an awful habit of ‘losing things’) and if possible, send it ‘recorded delivery’ or a ‘record of posting’ – the most important thing is recording the date and the postcode of the office concerned! This is your official record of the postal package sent). This now stands up in law and you can refer to it lawfully in any further proceedings.

  70. Hi Rob – this is important! – please look further up the page!

  71. Rob – You also may have a case in the ‘Health & Safety’ legislation.
Can they provide you with a copy of their ‘Health & Safety Act’ sheet – if not, and you have signed a ‘contract of work’ with your ‘provider’ – then they will (as I understand it), be breaking the ‘Health & Safety at Work Act’ laws.

  72. OT: Privitisation of DWP via Backdoor

    http://www.pcs.org.uk/en/department_for_work_and_pensions_group/dwp-news.cfm/pcs-condemns-expansion-of-private-sector-in-pip-delivery

“DWP have decided that private company Serco will be involved in delivering the Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

They will deliver PIP new claims and new claim reassessment service lines. This work is currently done in-house by DWP staff. Serco will taking on the work of about 279 staff at their existing sites in Bolton and Knowsley. Serco will take on this work in two phases, in October and November 2015. No DWP staff will transfer to Serco under these arrangements.

PCS were not consulted over this privatisation of DWP work. We have made clear to management that outsourcing this work is likely to create problems in the services to the public which our members will have to deal with.”

  73. Another Fine Mess: What a fucking bunch of total wankers indeed.
If these so-called ‘Charities’ want to bring their ‘good’ name into total disrepute – then Rob’s case is a really good example to do just this.
All of us on here, I am sure (my own mother-in-law died of cancer 2 years ago) would love to support cancer care in all it’s forms.
But – I am bloody sure I am NOT going to support them in taking on people who have been forced onto the DWP’s Workfare programme.
I will personally NEVER ever support this. If they want volunteers – let them have volunteers – (pensioners for example), – but NEVER someone forced by the DWP onto the Workfare Programme to support them.

  74. Another Fine Mess: Please look further up this page!

  75. “Registered Charities” – All a fucking bunch of bastards. All of them on our ‘high streets’ and our ‘market streets’. All of them looking to make a fortune from some old recently deceased old/very old person’s house or flat – a charity ‘van’ and a ‘workfare man’ clearing them out – delivering to the shop of ‘volunteers’ – and, at the end of the day – cashing-up:
50% to the ‘charity’ and 50% to the Chief Executive Officer.
And, then on top of it all, (because of their ‘charity’ status) – they have to pay NO tax whatsoever.
Bollocks to them all, – and to them all just fuck off!
What a total rip-off of the British population.

    • I don’t understand how the ‘posh’ charity shops get away with selling new goods. It’s very unfair to those retailers who have to pay the full rates for selling similar goods.

    • 'Charity' shops are a SCAM!!

All these ‘charity’ shop ‘managers’ are on £60-80K + London weighting + expenses + brand new top-of-the-range car.

      ‘Charity’ shops are a SCAM!!

      • 'Charity' shops are a SCAM!!

Should really be manageress because it’s unheard of for a man to manage a ‘charity’ shop. And no doubt these women will have a partner will a good salary. Middle-class nobheads taking the piss!

  76. Another Fine Mess – Yes, thank you for that.
I have virtually given up now on doing a ‘reply’ as such on here – it is all going out of sequence and one has to go up and up the page to find the ‘reply’ as posted. I have no idea what has happened – maybe it’s wordpress or whatever ??

  77. Another Fine Mess: Fuck it! – even that reply has gone out of sequence!
Grrrrr. Now – it’ll probably go on – please go up the page to find it!! : )

  78. John McDonnell accuses George Osborne of pursuing ‘immoral’ policies .

The other 2 reviewers tried to say that the Media was being unfair to him, but the ‘presenter’ was determined to undermine him if possible.
Obviously – as usual – a Sky News obvious bias in favour of the Tories.

Coroner’s ‘ground-breaking’ verdict: Suicide was ‘triggered’ by ‘fit for work’ test

    DNS – 18th Sep 2015

A coroner has demanded that the government takes action to prevent future deaths of disability benefit claimants, after concluding in a “ground-breaking” inquest verdict that a disabled man killed himself as a direct result of being found “fit for work”.

It is believed to be the first time that a coroner has blamed the work capability assessment (WCA) process for directly causing the death of a claimant.

Disabled activists believe it could prove a huge breakthrough in the fight against the government’s welfare reforms, and the battle to scrap the loathed fitness-for-work test and replace it with a more humane and less dangerous assessment.

In a report sent to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), the senior coroner for inner north London, Mary Hassell, said “the trigger” for the suicide was the man being found fit for work by the department.

Responding to her concerns, in a document marked “OFFICIAL – SENSITIVE”, DWP claimed that its policy on how to respond to such cases “regrettably was not followed in this case”.

  81. Rob – Hope you manage to get out of that dump quickly.
Here’s their advert for their tasteful “Buckets4Boobs” collection event – they’re looking for enthusiastic “volunteers” for it. Hope you’re out of there before you have to walk the streets with a bucket or pack bags in Tescos for a bucket donation. Maybe your doctor could give you a sick line.
“Ladies and gents of Caerphilly! We need your help! We’re looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to bucket collect for our ‪#‎Buckets4Boobs‬ collections on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September in Tesco. Give an hour of your time or a day if you want to! To get involved, email Verity on fundraising@tenovuscancercare.org.uk.”
PS Wouldnt it be embarrasing if someone came up to them in Tescos and told them off for using slave dwp labour…then again Tescos use it themselves..
