What A Wanker, No Poverty In The UK Claims Alan Fucking Sugar

sir-alan-sugar

He dresses like a tit as well.

If you ever wanted proof that making lots of money turns you into a wanker then just spend some time listening to Alan fucking Sugar.  Just days after a Kensington millionaire newspaper columnist declared there is no housing crisis in the UK, Sugar has gone one step further and said there’s no poor people as well.

The reason for his insight is that some people have mobile phones and microwaves and this means they can’t be really poor, like he was before these things were invented.  Which is like somone from the middle ages saying that Alan Sugar can’t have been properly poor growing up because his house was made of bricks.  It’s a fucking stupid thing to say but then what do you expect from a demented cumstain in a posh suit who sits behind a desk too big for him all day doling out what he thinks is wisdom and gets paid, by us, for doing it.

You can buy a mobile phone for two quid on ebay.  Give the Jobcentre enough shit and they’ll probably buy one for you*.  It doesn’t mean you’ll be able to afford any credit for it and actually be able to use it.  But it does mean you’re not poor anymore according to Baron fucking Sugar.

Sugar made his comments on ITV’s This Morning where he said that he was properly poor growing up because you needed to put a shilling in the electric meter.  Yet there will be children in cold and dark flats right now because the pre-pay meter has run out, and unlike in Sugar’s day, it now costs the best part of a tenner to get the heating back on.  These out of touch comments are an obscene insult to the hundreds of thousands of people who have been left with little more than nothing after over a decade of social security cuts, soaring rents and shrinking wages.  In 2013 the number of households claiming housing benefit – paid only to tenants with a low income whether in work or not – hit five million for the first time and it has more or less stayed there.  There are more people who are poor in the UK now than at any point since before the war.  Sugar grew up in an age that was far from perfect but there were more jobs, houses were cheaper, benefits more generous and higher education was free.  It is unlikely a young person today from his background would be able to save the £50 (£810 in today’s money) that he claims he used to set up his first business.

People who have had their benefit sanctioned are expected to survive on Hardship Payments of just over £40 a week, and that’s only if they qualify and someone at the Jobcentre bothers to tell them they exist.  These payments are now being converted into loans meaning sanctioned claimants have no money at all, just an ever increasing debt.  You can’t really be poorer than that Alan.  You fucking tool.

Like many of the super rich Alan Sugar mistakes people sucking up to him for admiration when in fact they just want some of his money.  That’s why he thinks he’s so clever.  He has no idea that most people think he’s a dick because no-one ever tells him he’s a dick.  At least not anybody he considers worth listening to, and the only people he thinks are worth listening are the people who suck up to him because they want some of his money.  He’s no different to the deluded, self-important knobends he humiliates on The Apprentice.  Who also just want some of his money.

The capitalist class would have us all behaving like those on his television show, fucking each other over in the hope of a pat on the head from the rich.  But who really wants to be like those wankers?  Why should we tolerate a world in which the only route to any kind of prosperity is to either be born with a silver spoon in your mouth or to spend your life exploiting the people you were born and brought up with.  Greed, selfishness, arrogance – are these really the values we want to base our society on?  They are the values of cunts.

The tragedy is that due to technology we could all live in the world Alan Sugar has invented in his head.  There is no reason at all for poverty in the UK, or anywhere else for that matter.  It is not that there isn’t enough to go around, there is more than plenty.  It is that some people have too much.  People like Alan Sugar.  So the very least he could do is keep his pampered fucking mouth shut.

  1. Blaggers note, get your own £1 sim and do not tell Jobcentre number…

  2. What else do you really expect though from the asshole mentor of Katie hopkins!

Alan Sugar – this once ‘great’ computer millionaire – which indeed, he was once, through his ‘Amstrad’ business.
HE is now a ‘Lord’ in the House of Lords (the House of Loungers and Scroungers) – taking all of his daily allowances and expenses.
This ‘Lord’ has absolutely no idea at all of what the ‘ordinary’ person has to go through day to day to survive. Privelege, Privelege, Privelege, – need I say any more!

  4. Oh there are many poor people in the UK Mr Sugar but if Ian Duncan Smith get his way they will all be dead. Sugar could not make lots of money if no one would work for him. Now he gets freebies in the upper house of parasites, like the MP’s helped themselves to taxpayers money for in one case keeping stables warm. They just don’t care if people are poor.

  5. I listened to a phone in on LBC today re Sugar and nearly all of them were saying the same. It was like the Daily Mail on speed. There really is a class war taking place in this country.

    • It’s the whole poverty denial. There to rationalise away any discomfort people feel over how we collectively let greed-pertrators oppress the rest of us.

~ It’s easier to pretend social cleansing does not exist so we can justify buying up ex-council flats.

~ It’s easier to pretend claimants are just lazy than admitting how work actually makes us feel in terms of poverty wages, job insecurity or the culture of long hours, suck ups & management bullying.

~ It’s easier to pretend immigration is a problem than to admit our collective abuse of the 3rd world. That one is running on an autopilot even amongst immigrants or otherwise left-wing, reasonable people.

  6. Another Fine Mess

He always reminds me of Sid James.

    • afm – he does look a bit like sid james, but at least sid james was intentionally funny (some would say) and it was his job. I don’t know if his laugh is as dirty as sid james’ though – in fact, I don’t think I’ve ever heard him laugh…

  7. A friend is on workfare with a group of people and she is meant to do some admin tasks. There is nothing to do where she has been sent. She was told she would be doing some computer input, there is no computer there. It is just stalls and there is no way anyone will learn anything there. Our government is our enemy, people on workfare or sick or unemployed are pawns to them to be moved about as they see fit. Glad I have no children, they want a nation of masters and slaves.

    • they did that to me, some years ago then, they said I could be trained in using computers applications that businesses routinely use. When I got there they did have a computer, one computer with several units working off it and their computer so old, the operating system so ancient that if they had let me use the computer for more than 2 occasions, when I pushed for it and they relented, if they had taught me how to use it, those skills would be non-transferable to another company. What a waste of my life asking for help was. It was the year labour first got back in parliament maybe the year after, when they were still cleaning up the mess the previous Tory government had made. Same old Tories, same old grand ideas, same terrible mess they make of the country, same old selfish idiots.

      • Maria the reality is that our politicians are a bunch of crooks. Our enemies are our so called elected representatives.

      • Maria, all politicians are crooks, not especially the Tories – all of them including Labour. Labour are the worst actually. Think about it.

    • Another Fine Mess

“There is nothing to do where she has been sent.”

I said the same thing 3 pages ago, unemployed are standing around in charity shops doing nothing, having days off, or being given pointless tasks. This type of ‘work experience’ is totally useless, unless they’re thinking of becoming an MP. It also costs a fortune in admin and payments between the JC, the parasites and the charity themselves.

We’ll never get anywhere until everyone admits There are no jobs to be done.

  9. “RUPERT MURDOCH’S FAVOURITE APPRENTICE”

On 31 July 2007 it was announced that broadcaster BSkyB had agreed to buy Amstrad for about £125m.[39] At the time of the takeover, Sugar commented that he wished to play a part in the business, saying: “I turn 60 this year and I have had 40 years of hustling in the business, but now I have to start thinking about my team of loyal staff, many of whom have been with me for many years.” On 2 July 2008 it was announced that Sugar was standing down from Amstrad as chairman, to focus solely on his other business interests.[40]

    • Lord Sugar dealt a fresh blow to Jeremy Corbyn today, saying “we should all move to China” if the new Labour leader ever becomes Prime Minister.

The star of TV’s The Apprentice also raised fears that Mr Corbyn could “shut down” London’s booming property market with sting-the-rich policies and controversial housing plans.

In his colourful attack, the former Labour peer also took a swipe at the party’s London mayoral candidate Sadiq Khan, claiming a combination of him in City Hall and Mr Corbyn in No 10 would hit the London economy.

      • “MONEY BUYS INFLUENCE”

A partial listing of the Hebrew millionaires financing the party of the puppet Blair: Ronald Cohen of Apax Partners, donated £100,000; Isaac Kaye of Norton Healthcare, £100,000; Joel Joffe of Allied Dunbar; “Sir” Sigmund Sternberg, £100,000; “Lord” Sainsbury of Sainsburys the supermarket chain; Alan Sugar of Amstrad, £200,000; Tony Tabatznik of Amerpharm pharmaceuticals, whose family is worth over £250 million; “Sir” Trevor Chinn, the chairman of Lex Service, the UK’s biggest motor dealer; “Sir” Emmanuel Kaye of the forklift truck firm Lansing Bagnall; “Sir” David Putnam the film producer; Alex Bernstein the former chairman of Granada, whose personal fortune is around £20 million and who regularly contributes in the order of £200,000; Robert Gavron the chairman of the Guardian Media Group which now produces 100 million books a year and numerous magazines, and who has handed out £500,000 at a time; “Lord” Levy the multi-millionaire music publisher probably worth £20 million with marble-lined house in Israel; “Sir” Maurice Hatter the electronics tycoon, donated £1 million; David Goldman the chairman of a telecommunications equipment supplier, donated £1 million; John Ritblatt the property tycoon, £100,000; “Lord” Hamlyn the publisher, reported to have given £600,000; Leslie Silver, the Leeds-based millionaire; Norman Hyams the property developer; “Lord” Diamond, £100,000.

It’s easy to work out why prominent politicians have their itchy trigger fingers poised to attack the Syrians…………….

Geoff – this just goes to show that he is just a fucking bastard.
Selling out to Murdoch – the arch liar of the Media – and soon to take up a ‘position’ in the House of Lords! I wonder who ‘gave’ him his ‘position’ in the House of Lords. He is now no-doubt getting his ‘State Pension’, his ‘Private Pension’ and also his allowances and expenses in the House of Lords.
He just loves all of the ego and the ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££
The £ with him is everything.

    Lord Sugar = £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££

FUCK THE POOR AND THE VULNERABLE AND THE SICK AND THE DISABLED. I’M ALRIGHT JACK – SAYS ‘LORD’ SUGAR

  11. They sit up there so high in their Tower, their tower reaches a spills over the clouds. Their tower built of golden coins at the top, and the blood of the poor are its foundations. They sit is their tower so high at the top, that they never see what happens down on the ground.

  12. everyone of my age of 60 like lord sugar were poor but we never spoke about it no one did

His main claim to fame was in fact his close friendship with Harold Stanley Kalms, Baron Kalms from Dixons

I have known him from 1970 he is not a typical sort of guy back in the seventies he just sold like delboy what was available all of it crap

his lack of business acumen was also his failing at amstrad as he failed to see that the Chinese don’t do quality control and it was that with the hard drive fiasco in his early computers

he failed to see that the big money was in the operating system and not the hardware

bill gates always knew that the operating system was key as it would ultimately be that was the main driving force as it could be fully licensed

as with hardware anyone can do that and that was the path lord sugar took

sure he has done well but overall nothing like bill gates who had a solid education where as lord sugar had nothing of note leaving school at 16

    • paultheswineherd

Nick – Yes and exactly so. Sugar saw ‘hardware’ and Bill Gates saw ‘software’. But, having said that – Alan Sugar has been ‘installed’ as ‘Lord Sugar’ (fucking hell – if I was Lord ‘Tate’ or Lord ‘Lyle’ – I even could even be a Lord of ‘Sugar’) – but I am not, and I will probably never will be.
But – I do not care – I do not want the millions of £ and the prestige of Lording it all over everyone (am I normal or am I not?) – I just want to look after my fellow man and woman. (Unlike the Cameron & Osborne Eton Bollocks/Arsehole Boys).

      • Or Lord Witworth at least that who does the sugar round here. I heard for a long time now, that sugar was bad for you.

        • paultheswineherd

Maria – Yes, yet another Lord, no doubt taking all of his ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ – and yes, too much sugar is undoubtedly bad for one – it destroys blood vessels and and it can cause blindness in it’s most extreme (diabetic) form.

          • I know Paul I was being metaphorical, about Sugar. I used to believe he was an alright chap, who was making an honest living. But he is just a money grabber at all costs. There s a difference in making a living and hoarding a stash. He ought to go back to his humble beginnings, if he was to become a decent person again, if he ever was one.

        • Lord Billington

          😀

      • only the well to do make the statement lord sugar made he would not have made that in his younger days so why now very sad as you lose credibility

you need to be humble at all times but more importantly you need to be seen as a leader and to be seen doing it yourself and not like they all do and that’s leave it to others while they just do the talking

The hardware approach taken by Sugar with Amstrad may have seemed sound at the time, (mid 80s) as the well known alternatives, Apple Mac IBM also ran software that was restricted to specific hardware. It was IBMs decision to allow their hardware to be cloned that was crucial. Gates’ clever move was having Microsoft DOS installed as an OEM operating system on both genuine IBM and IBM clones. The Amstrad PCWs actually sold quite well, as they were considerably cheaper than either an IBM, or Apple Mac. It was later in the 80s/early 90s that Amstrad began to lose out, as by then the IBM, usually in clone form, had become an industry standard.

  13. In all fairness Alan Sugar was poor growing up & worked himself up out of poverty. Which proves one thing – you don’t have to be born rich to be an arsehole. Just like not all people born into wealth become arseholes.

Being an arsehole is a lifestyle choice.

  14. There is a whole system of enabling arseholes, where financial abusers get glorified once they make hefty bucks by exploiting cheap slave labour.

I really do wonder how all these 3rd world workers manufacturing Amstrad’s goods were treated. How much did they ever get of Sugar’s soaring profits?

  16. Conservative activists attending their party’s conference in Manchester have been told to hide their Tory-branded identification passes when walking around the northern city

The threat of hostile protest has led party bosses to warn members to take extra precautions if they venture outside the secure “ring of steel” around the event.

If they want to put their lives at risk it’s fine by me. The Northern Poorhouse has a certain way of dealing with scum……………

  17. paultheswineherd

Geoff – I wonder ‘why’ the Tories are having their ‘Conference’ in Manchester? Is it a case of the ‘Great Northern Powerhouse’ I wonder?
Also, who are going to have to pay for their ‘Conference’?
Why not have it in London – after all, where the Tories are at their greatest?
None of it makes any sense at all – the Mancunians should kick the bastards out and down to London – where the pigs-head fucking cunts ultimately belong.

  18. Sugar made a comment that his products were “a bit rough around the edges. A kind of “Ratner moment” which really should have ended his ‘consumer electronics’ business. Amstrad were infamous for producing crap but most of their ‘manufacturing’ sub-contracted from other manufacturers. Everything they made with or without the Amstrad (Alan Michael Sugar Trading) was basically shit. A Marks & Spencer prawn sandwich would last longer than an Amstrad computer.

Sugar also commented that the infamous Amstrad e-mailer – remember them? A fiver to send an email! – was a means to “get an advertising billboard in everyone’s living room”.

    • Does anyone still use these? Seriously!

    • Looks pretty cool!🙂

      • Bernie & Millicent

We almost bought one of these! As stupid as it now seems. Goodness knows what we were thinking at the time. We went to have a look at one in our local Dixons. It was funny when Bernie pulled the keyboard thing at the bottom out and it broke off in his hand. “That thing looks like a right piece of flimsy plastic rubbish” he said as we left it and walked off.

    • “Amstrad were infamous for producing crap but most of their ‘manufacturing’ sub-contracted from other manufacturers.”

Were there any articles about this, Gerald Ratner?
Because sub-contracting is usually a code for hiring slave labour whilst pretending to not know what the sub-contractor is doing.

No wonder his goods were crap. Especially not if they were manufactured by children.

      • It was Amstrad who pioneered slave labour. Amstrad was the first to tap into the slave labour market. He saw an opportunity and grabbed it. His wealth is built on the slave labour of children in third-world countries. And his products were all shit!

  19. Alan Sugar’s business model has pretty reliably been buy some shit and sell it as hi quality gear to the working classes. I challenge anybody to point out an item for sale by any of his companies over the last 30 years that was not ‘a tranny in a box’ style piece of shit.
Watch ‘the apprentice’ if you want to know who this man is; Con Man.
    Flim Flam merchant. Trickster.
‘Give 5 youngsters a £100 budget and a bunch of bananas;highest profit wins a job’; Says it all about his life’s work_
    Fucking Shyster.

  20. Desperate for attention fucking Shyster actually, considering how he has been clamoring for attention on t.v.;
We dont love you Allan, you are a short arsed lying little salesman who has made a fortune from exploiting others.
No state funeral for you,you fibbing fuck wit.

  21. Fancy getting close & intimate with Sugar’s bollocks? Cassette boy shows us how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAwymcSlmoA

PS: someone’s gotta upload it on JV’s blog. I don’t know how to do that.

  22. Has anyone come across a version of the rags to riches story which was not an exercise in self congratulation? Anyone who says ‘actually, I had a bit of luck’, or that they were helped along the road, or even that they arrived through some near criminal activity or psychopathically trading on all who got in the way as they scrambled upward? Isn’t the I was a poor boy who worked hard and got just reward for it meme somewhat stale?

I don’t want to take anything away from this discussion, but I am interested in what is happening in REDCAR. Or,what is about to happen in Redcar. No one comes outta here alive! You gotta house, you aint even gonna be able to sell it…for peanuts. And if you did sell it for peanuts, the tent you would buy wouldn’t even be able to buy you any camping site down in London(and where the toffs don’t want you,and consider you scum) IDS is waiting in the wings, the grinning SS commander. I don’t wish to be unkind but they might as well make their last caste of steel into guns to take on Westminster. Pathetic,I know. That, or take the suicide tablets. It’s all over for ’em,folks. Say prayers for ’em. (Or send postcard to Archbishop of Pricks at Canterbury,ex Eton,he might send up a whisper!)
    So sad,so depressing.

    • The people of Redcar are smashing folk, warm and inviting and hard working………..
Sadly, like all northern towns, Scarborough included, where i come from, the transformation has been devastating.
Redcar has it’s share of working mens clubs that used to be packed to the rafters, each one now on borrowed time.
Poverty hits you in the face wherever you wander up here, two weeks ago i was in Hartlepool, yet another skeleton of Thatcher’s twisted policies.

They say that they are keeping the coke furnaces lit over the weekend at the Redcar plant in the hope of a last minute reprieve. I hope to god that some element of help comes their way…………..

Meanwhile, on the real planet Anus, Cameron’s wife Olive Oyl, will be showing off her grossly priced belt to the champagne supping moth ball brigade, marble in mouth scumsuckers.
Raising flutes to congratulate Dunko the clown on his accelerated killing spree of those least able to put up a fight, the weak and vulnerable.

Please do me a favour, you decent Mancunians, put a light to the conference hall and give the neighbours a treat. The smell of pork scratchings, a northern delicacy permeating the nostrils.

Purchase your drones and fulfil your dreams of propping up the Israeli agenda while your people starve and suffer relentlessly……….

Off topic, it seems that a new petition has been launched that will ask for a referendum on the future of trident nuclear based deterrents. This would put the cat amongst the pigeons as the majority will reject it, as a recent media poll showed……

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chartism
‘Chartism was a working-class movement for political reform in Britain which existed from 1838 to 1858. It took its name from the People’s Charter of 1838 and was a national protest movement, with particular strongholds of support in Northern England, the East Midlands, the Staffordshire Potteries, the Black Country, and the South Wales Valleys. Support for the movement was at its highest in 1839, 1842, and 1848, when petitions signed by millions of working people were presented to the House of Commons. The strategy employed was to use the scale of support which these petitions and the accompanying mass meetings demonstrated to put pressure on politicians to concede manhood suffrage. Chartism thus relied on constitutional methods to secure its aims, though there were some who became involved in insurrectionary activities, notably in south Wales and Yorkshire.’

          • overburdenddonkey

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corv%C3%A9e
‘Statute labour is a corvée imposed by a state for the purposes of private works.[1] As such it represents a form of levy (taxation). Unlike other forms of levy, such as a tithe, a corvée does not require the population to have land, crops or cash. It was thus favored in historical economies in which barter was more common than cash transactions and/or circulating money is in short supply.
Today, most countries have restricted corvée labour to conscription (military or civilian service), prison labour, or workfare.’

  25. Conservative policies are all ideological to keep the power with the few at the top, than what’s best for most people or the economy. Why else would they have done the worst thing imaginable for the economy in a recession by increasing VAT to make everything more expensive to slow down spending, as well as other tax that affects the poor the most like bedroom tax and making disabled people pay council tax from the minimum amount they can live on. Then do nothing with the extra tax except give millionaires tax cuts, while saying there have to be cuts to vital services?
It’s like when the Conservatives were in power before in the 80s, when they stole and sold off nearly everything public owned, then added tax that affects the poor the most like constant VAT increases, the first government to add tax to household bills after they privatised the energy companies, and the Poll Tax where an 18 year old in a bed sit had to pay the same as a lord in a manor.
Then by the late 80s after not spending the money on anything anybody wanted, such as more social housing or the NHS because waiting lists were the longest ever, they said they were broke, giving them an excuse to not put money into what services were left, making them the worst in Europe, still blaming Labour for what the Tories do after 10 years. It was also the Conservatives who turned us into a banking nation with nothing else to fall back on, where people’s credit rating was the most important thing in their life, which all crashes every few years when nobody can pay back the debt they’re encouraged to have. If Labour had put too many controls on all the Tories left us with, the Tories would have been the first to make a fuss, accusing Labour of being too controlling.
Look at how the Tories tried to vote against Labour’s long awaited House of Lords reform, to reduce the number of hereditary Lords. The Tories wanted their upper class friends to be entitled to be paid for going nothing, with expenses and subsidised bars and restaurants. Then when Labour brought in the first ever minimum wage, the Tories tried to vote against that too. Now they’re saying they’re for a minimum wage. Are they saying they lied before when they said that any form on minimum wage would be bad for the economy?
That party never seem with it anyway. On the same show that Boris Johnson said Germany never used chemical weapons in wars, he said an even bigger lie that nobody seemed to notice, as said there wasn’t a vote on the 2nd war against Iraq, when more Conservative MPs voted yes to it than other parties.
They’re managing to convince idiots that getting rid of human rights is about terrorists, when there are already exceptions against national security. That’s why Abu Hamza failed in his case. It’s only about taking away rights from the majority. Look at how the Tories tried to use the police as their personal army against workers fighting to keep their jobs, lying that shipbuilding would go over to third world countries, when it’s now in rich nations such as Japan.
Then when the future generations in those communities feel they have no hope apart from a job in Tescos, the Tories kick them down even more. At least Labour helped to rebuild those communities ruined by the Tories, by promoting more than ever to go to university, but now even to study with the OU it’s 5,000 a year in student loans.
We now have a government where the PM, chancellor and London Mayor all went to the Bullingdon Club, giving each other top jobs, and some think they will act in the interests of many.

  26. Hello
On September 14th, after serving 5 months of my sentence at a charity shop on a CWP (provider and slave trader Groundwork) I was ejected (sacked) for sharing leaflets (but not at the workplace) and possibly, perhaps, maybe protesting against workfare in the local area sometime in the future.
I attended a meeting to discuss this at Groundwork and took an IWW (iww.org) union rep. I found my own replacement placement and was told it would be sorted.
I was then sent a MAN2 to attend a ‘pre-screen’ with partner provider Working Links. I attended the appointment at Groundwork and took a Sgint (www.sgint.weebly.com) advocate. The appointment was terminated due to the guy feeling ‘uncomfortable’ that I was accompanied. He thought it bizarre and had never experienced anyone attending with an advocate and was somewhat ignorant of what an advocate was or of my right to be accompanied.
On my next signing day the Job Centre was under the impression I was already at a new placement and here I am almost 2 weeks later having received no correspondence from either Groundwork or DWP.
I am due to sign on next on Monday.

They keep harping back to their days where most were in the same situation ..Everybody help each other out and they didn’t look down on you. We now have food banks, people can’t afford to use the Gas/ electric ..but this person really has forgotten what it was really like.
If he did he would look around the poorer areas and see that times haven’t changed much for the unlucky …but now he can claim more money (Taxpayers) to talk cheap he can claim in a day that some of us have to work for in a week and yet he is a failure in terms of business and Guess what he thinks we are interested in what he thinks…..If he had a brain and really opened his eyes he would see what he assisted dog could see!

  46. we had a 50p gas meter growing up. heating 12 bedrooms 50p did not last long,, its funny how money changes people they must forget what its like to have fuck all,,,

  47. Santa hates you

Unhelpful and uninformed statements by Alan Sugar plays right into the hands of the Tories and their supporters. Sugar needs to open his eyes and actually spend a day working at a food bank or a welfare rights office to get a real understanding of poverty affecting the poor in the UK. The UK is a rich country. Poverty is actually created by those in power to punish the working class for not being productive enough. Equally, why does the media keep misrepresenting the real plight of working class people struggling in this country? My guess is that it’s done to keep working class people in their place.

  48. paultheswineherd

Its just been reported that Labour (and former Cabinet Minister) ‘Peer’ Lord Adonis is leaving and then to be appointed by Osborne to be the Head of a New National Infrastructure Commission (I wonder how much more that is now going to cost the taxpayer!)

  61. paultheswineherd

    D. Telegraph – tomorrow’s headline: Osborne, (after his recent visit to China) says “I’ll shake Britain out of inertia”
I suppose we’ll all have to work like the Chinese slaves from now on if this dickhead gets his own way! He and his Gov’t must NOT be allowed to do so.

  62. The Rich are Rich because the poor or average “give” them money. Alan Sugar could see this at a young age…. He exploited it….hence made …or took lots of money off the poor and gullible……when the government was making little in VAT income …The then chancellor of the exchequer Gordon Brown and PM Bair cut VAT from 17.5% to 15% and you all went out to buy crap in order to save a few pennies….. We had the power at that time and lost it….people are generally stupid….The government know this and exploit it…what did you think when VAT went up to 20%. Simple rule …Think out the government’s actions…its not for you its for them….what is the long term plan….why are they doing this….think before you follow “their” master plan…..its for them NOT you. When it’s going to cost you…..think is it for me or for them…..Each and every time…The rich “Avoid” paying taxes whenever possible……so should the rest of us…..where possible….

    • Yorkkshire Lass

True! If you gave everyone a million pounds today the rich would have it all tomorrow. The rich are rich because we (the poor) “give” them our money. It is like when we were kids and we ran into the front room screaming at Mum “You’ve got to by Mr Blobby! Everyone has Mr Blobby!”, “Don’t be such a silly chuff. That is how Noel Edmonds makes his money. Why do you think he is so rich?” And this was around the same time she threw out all her Queen albums when she ‘discovered’ Freddie Mercury was gay! lol

      • Yorkkshire Lass

Or like me grandad (RIP) said: “Remember that every time you give someone your money you make them richer”. I have never forgotten that!

  63. thers no excuse for being poor you can make a millon a day just by wanking

  64. This is one of the most insufferable cliches there is – according to poverty deniers, unless you are living under a bridge and eating roadkill you are actually well off. • The few frames the BBC were allowed to show of the more than 60 thousand demonstrators, showed the true face of todays Britain.
Never have i heard such anger from a crowd, the hostility was at fever pitch and the toff who was egged, lucky to escape being murdered.
It takes just a few seconds for an incident to happen and i, personally, would have enjoyed every second……………..

Stoke a fire and expect to be burnt. Just like a young William Hague drooling at Thatcher, the egged toff was begging for limelight.

He will go down in history as the bastard who got what he deserved……..

What we are witnessing is the seeds of a national riot, a riot so large that those in power must be blinkered.

The BBC will be announcing death tallies as the fallout from the removal of Tax Credits take hold.

Insurrection is the name of the game now, coup d’e etat, a march on the government to sieze power from those that torture and kill at will.

We are witness to the horrors of mans greed, yet the numbers are well stacked in our favour.

Why should the will of a mere handful push the masses into poverty?

A revolution like no other witnessed on these shores is starting to come together, the tinder being lit in Manchester at this very moment…………

          • ‘I FOUND it astonishing that on the ‪#‎Marr‬ show ‪#‎Cameron‬ described Syrian president Bashir al-Assad as a butcher who “barrel bombs” his citizens out of their homes, while Cameron is not only “bedroom taxing” his own British citizens out of their homes but also supporting his very own ‪#‎butcher‬ Iain Duncan Smith, whose #DWP only last week was found responsible for the suicide of mentally ill benefit claimant Michael O Sullivan, and yet it pushes ahead with its rigged “fit for work assessments” on people with terminal illnesses like MND etc?

Cameron and his vindictive Government are detested by the people, who are suffering under his regime exactly the same as the Syrian people who are suffering under the Assad regime. Neither of these two so-called statesmen would know the meaning of decency or compassion.

              • DWP tell lies to steal disability benefits

A YOUNG disabled woman has been forced to turn to food banks and crisis loans to survive after the Department for Work and Pensions slashed her benefits and stopped her partner’s Carer’s Allowance.

Katie Davidson, 21, suffers from a range of mental and physical disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, joint hypermobility syndrome, which causes her a lot of pain and restricted movement, panic attacks, depression and anxiety.

For the past two years she has been receiving £82.20 a week on the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) enhanced care rate as well as the standard mobility payment of £21.80 a week.

Her partner and full-time carer Martin Laird, 23, was also in receipt of £62.10 a week in Carer’s Allowance because she needs round-the-clock care.

However, after a DWP assessment, Katie got a letter saying that her PIP enhanced care payment has stopped and her partner would no longer get Carer’s Allowance to look after her, which means the couple are struggling to make ends meet on £87 a month.

The DWP said the reason for Katie’s benefit cuts was that she told the assessor she was able to carry out eight out of the 10 criteria and only had problems preparing food and engaging with people face-to-face. However, both Katie and Martin say this is not true and they did not say this to the assessor.

I have an idea for Iain Duncan Smith – why cannot he be sanctioned under the Mental Health Act? He is, after all, probably an undiagnosed sociopath/psychopath, whom, by his (and his DWP’s actions) orders and actions, is guilty of causing the deaths of claimants (now officially confirmed in Mr O’Sullivan’s case).
In addition, both IDS & Cameron (IDS’s partner in crime) should be taken to Court for crimes against humanity across the British Isles.

    • the main problem with the legal points are that all those that have died which runs into thousands some would have naturally died. at the time they were assessed by ATOS.

What the UN or any lawyer would need to work out in that did the persons failure of their medical by ATOS speed up their death expedite it through stress be it there heart packed up or the person went into shock which we know has happened or did the person panic and commit suicide of which many have done.

all of the deaths will have a history. what a lawyer would need to set out is a time frame of events prior to the ATOS medical and then again afterwards” as to determine along with the coroners report what actually has happen and why this person has died and who ultimately caused the death was it by negligence or criminal negligence a very big difference despite the outcome being the same.

The lawyers fees would per person run into thousands of pounds as the time needed to get to the full facts would take months and on a mass block of people that have died years costing millions of pounds involving hundreds of staff. my belief will be for the next government to set up a governing body like in the Hillsboro disaster to get justice for all of the bereaved families though the prosecuting of all of those that have or had played a part in the deaths of the sick and disabled.

As these are crimes against humanity all those arrested will need to stand trial in the Hague in Holland as the gravity of the crimes being so serious would not not be able to be held in the UK as the number of deaths well exceeds 10000 sick and disabled people which is way beyond any of our mental ability’s to cope with

  86. paultheswineherd

Nick – yes, you are very right – it would have to go before the International Court for Human Rights at the Hague in Holland.

  87. Indeed Paul one of my specialty subjects is forensic pathology as it gives a very reliable account of how one has been living before their death

In the case of all of the sick and disabled that have died in going through welfare reform you would be able to get to the heart of the matter quite quickly in why a person has died and why a statement from the DWP of that person being fit was just a downright lie

Only a forensic pathologist can state on how a person had been living and what drugs from their GP they had been taking for their medical condition before their death and how their health deteriorated by the news that they were fit for work by the DWP and their death

Those with a mental condition will be very vulnerable to stress as they may be taking Benzodiazepines (such as Temazepam or Loprazolam) and the newer “Z medicines” (such as Zopiclone or Zolpidem) which are the preferred drugs for insomnia which can give rise to suicide thought peeks

those with mental illness, psychological disorder or psychiatric disorder, will be taking anything from a range of 15 families of psychiatric medications for there condition and any type of added stress by the DWP is very likely to cause the death of that person

You also have to remember that those with mental illness may have other medical conditions and will more than likely be taking medication for that condition as well

for example ulceration colitis (bowel) is a very severe condition that is very much stress related even one phone call from a unknown person can set up a chain of events leading to that persons death as the drugs that they have been taking may have included morphine for pain relief and the additional stress from the DWP will cause severe vomiting and most deaths are form the inhalation of vomit

People with mental health always need the best support if they are to stay alive and not succumb to the DWP and death as we have all too often seen

  88. Translation: I’m a greedy bastard and I don’t want to have a pay a penny in taxes – let the oiks eat cake. (I’ve never liked Al…)

  89. The problem with this country is that we have never moved on from the “class system establishment elite” in the way that other countries have. In Germany their industry has a board of directors consisting of managers who have been engineers themselves and come up through the ranks and their top engineers and the union leaders representing their highly skilled workers. It is a meritocracy and they work together for the good of the company and its employees. Britain has not moved in from the 1930’s we still have managers who are completely brain dead and can not do anything else and are only in that position because they attended public school even if they are pig thick and union leaders intent on fighting a “class war” without the interests of their members. Why do you think that qualified people piss off and work abroad? most of my family have done that.
