Posh Wet Tories to Hold Posh Wet Rally Against Debt

A bunch of thick tories, right wing libertarian types and hand wringing Ukippers are planning to hold a Rally Against Debt in central London on Saturday 14th May.

According to their crap blog this will be: “A well mannered, polite rally for civilised people who don’t wish to see their hard earned money being spent on pointless government initiatives.”

Already they are very cross that the event is being hijacked by subversive forces.  Some on twitter have decided that the Rally Against Debt should be extended to student debt and household debt, set to rocket due to the spending cuts.  The original twitter feed – @ukdebtrally has been usurped by @UKAgainstDebt, or is that the other way round.

Ever the opportunist, reformist traitor  Sunny Hundal is confused again.  Elsewhere a Rally Against the Rally Against Debt has already been announced.  The original Rally Against Debt say they are talking to the Met about a route.  Presumably these so called libertarians are depending on the filth to protect them.  Hating the state only goes so far.  How motivated the filth will actually be to facilitate a demo calling for more of them to be sacked remains to be seen.

Here’s hoping for a scrap – black bloc vs posh twats – at least 10 and possibly 20 wet right wingers might turn up for this event.  This could be the biggest gathering of the libertarian right in years.  We should not be complacent.  No doubt the feared Tax Payers Alliance direct action group will be making an appearance …

  2. You don’t do yourself any favours in presuming that people who support government savings are posh.

  3. posh or stupid arse-licking scabs who’d rather toady up to the rich and ruling class then organise within their own class for the benefit of us all

I’m not a socialist (I’m a free market Georgist Libertarian Lib Dem), but you seem to imply here that government spending generally favours the poor – why?

I’m not posh, wet or tory but I’ll be there.

Anything that reduces the size and power of the state is good.

You’re right – govt spending often favours the rich. In other words, bank bailouts, defence spending, infrastructure to defend private property and the propping up of corporations and big business.

None of that is being cut, however.

What is being cut is the stuff that is easiest to cut – education, DLA, and the NHS. The stuff that serves the working-class. Cutting in this direction isn’t moving towards a smaller state, as you deluded ‘libertarian’ types seem to believe. The state, and government, will remain as strong as ever. It’s the working people that this government wants to make weaker, not the state.
