In an daring and dramatic move the Met Police yesterday closed an art exhibition being held in North London. The Temporary Autonomous Art Exhibition, which has been open three days, was shut down after scores of police surrounded the building and closed two roads causing traffic chaos in the local area.
Artists had travelled from all over Europe to exhibit their work.
Good to see the boys in blue diverting their resources towards these dangerous and subversive artists, apparantly Hackney Police Station is so quiet on a Saturday night these days that art has become a top priority for the Met.
That’s democracy folks …
