Panicking McCarthyites are running for their lives with the news that pinko faggot Bernie Sanders has been elected to the senate after standing in Vermont in the recent elections.
With some right wings hawks calling him a traitor, a communist and a jew others have pleaded for calm pointing out that this pseudo socialist has repeatedly supported Bush on his pro-war and anti-immigration stances.
Reputedly a member of the zionist conspiracy secretly controlling the planet from an Israeli bunker, Sanders also endorsed the failed Israeli assault on Lebanon and has voted to back sanctions against the Palestinians in an effort to oust democratically elected terrorist government (sound familiar) Hamas.
Sanders ran as an independant candidate but was heavily supported by those fake friends to socialists the Democrat Party. Howard Dean, the Democratic National Committee Chair has said:
“He is basically a liberal Democrat, and he is a Democrat at that–he runs as an Independent because he doesn’t like the structure and money that gets involved…The bottom line is that Bernie Sanders votes with the Democrats 98 percent of the time.”
Ashley Smith at Counterpunch notes that this is more often than most Democrats vote with the Democrats. So whilst the NSA has vowed to upgrade security around the Senate, you know, just the usual .. tap his phones, lean on his family, plant some incriminating evidence, kill his dog, the Republicans can sleep easily at night knowing that they have got some reds well and truly in their beds.
Bernie himself, this man is dangerous and highly confused.
Meanwhile newly elected congressman Keith Ellison, the first ever Muslim member of congress, was given an old-fashioned, warm Southern welcome after being asked:
“Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies.”
Ellison was being interviewed on CNN by Glenn Beck who says “I know Muslims. I like Muslims. I’ve been to mosques.” Watch it here.
Interesting post. I had no idea Bernie had been up to no good! I’ll have to read a bit more about his history.
